Painting inspired by the life of Stefan Ackerie.

Stefan is most certainly an inspiration.  He achieved so many great, incredible things.  He is focused, passionate and determined.  What I loved the most upon meeting Stefan however, is his genuine desire to create happiness for those around him. To live and take action from a place of kindness. The Stefan rainbow was chosen after he was inspired by Temple of Dreams in China.  Stefan wanted people to feel like their dreams were met in his salons.  The colours I have used are vibrant and joyous to reflect his rainbow and all it represents.  
Stefan cares deeply for people and one of his gifts is in creating memorable, special moments for people he meets. He also recalls moments in detail which tells me he is present in all he had done …meeting Mother Theresa, when he first met Rose, meeting his best mate.  He opened salons to not only hold onto great staff, but to provide them with career advancement opportunities when they voiced, they wanted that.  He purchased the Brisbane needle to ensure it stayed here, not disappear overseas. 
The yellow roses in this painting represent Rose, who has stood with him in business and life for over 40years.  The painting of Mother Theresa was included as I felt it represents the level of giving and kindness Stefan shows.  The bright pink was included to represent Stefan's boat racing and the Stefan brand.
The boldness of colour in this painting is a reminder to, just as Stefan has done, to live joyously, vividly.  In bold colour.  To be “loud for purpose”.  To embrace and create fabulous, colourful moments.
